15 Cars I Want to see in Forza Horizon 6

The first gameplay reveal for Forza Horizon 6 was shown on Thursday 22nd of January and several new cars were shown off and announced including the Ferrari F80, Honda E and the cover car the Toyota GR GT. With a list of 550 cars at launch and claims of the gaming focussing on 'progression' this could put the Horizon series back to it's former glory. But here are 15 cars that I'd like to see make into the game either at launch, through DLC or updates.

Honda Prelude- The brand new Prelude is very popular in Japan at the moment, and would make a perfect fit alongside the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ. Considering the devs got the GR GT on the cover, I'm sure the Prelude will either be in the base game or arrive soon after.

Year: 2026

Division: Modern Sports Cars
Engine: 2 Litre 4 Cylinder and 2 Electric Motors, 181 BHP, 232 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 8.2 Seconds, 117 MPH, 1490 KG

Mazda Furai- The one-off Mazda concept made a surprise return in Forza Motorsport ’23 having been absent since Motorsport 4, it’s a highly requested car that packs a rotary engine, LMP2 chassis and incredible styling though in real life it meant a firey end. Exclusive, interesting and exciting, this car would fit right at home with the likes of the Zonda R and Ferrari FXX K.

Year: 2008

Division: Extreme Track Toys

Engine: 2 Litre 3-rotar rotary, 458 BHP, 278 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 3.1 Seconds, Top Speed: 175 MPH, 675 KG

BMW M3 CSL- The lightweight limited run CSL has exploded in popularity over the years and is now a firm modern classic, only thing stopping this car being added is that it isn’t radically different to the standard M3 E46 compared to the M3-GTR which is visibly and internally very different with it's bulging front bumper, quad exhausts and V8 engine.

Year: 2003

Division: Retro Sports Cars

Engine: 3.2 Litre Straight 6, 355 BHP, 273 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 4.8 Seconds, Top Speed: 175 MPH, 1385 KG

TVR Cerbera 4.5- A personal favourite of mine and my dad’s. Whilst not the mostly highly requested car on the Forza Forums, it is still part of arguably TVR’s golden era that spawned world beating sports cars that didn’t break the bank, would be nice to see this or the Griffith 500 as newcomers or the Tuscan S to return from Horizon 4.

Year: 1997

Division: Retro Supercars

Engine: 4.5 Litre V8, 420 BHP, 380 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 3.9 Seconds, Top Speed: 180 MPH, 1100 KG

Mercedes SLR McLaren- The highest requested car that didn’t make it into Horizon 5 and hasn’t been seen since Motorsport 6 . An iconic supercar from the early 2000s that can be easily overlooked. Likely issue with this car is the licensing from Mercedes, McLaren and Sterling Moss’ family, but considering Gran Turismo 7 has it, now is about time for the SLR to make it’s big comeback.

Year: 2004

Division: Retro Supercars or Super GT

Engine: 5.4 Litre Supercharged V8, 617 BHP, 576 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 3.8 Seconds, Top Speed: 208 MPH, 1751 KG

Maserati MC20- This car was found in the files of Horizon 5 as well as in the developers build of the game, so it was likely planned but got shelved along with other cars including the Porsche Boxster S ’10 and Ford GTX1. It's mechanically similar to the Ferrari 296 GTB but considering it's already been facelifted into the MCpura, it may or may not make the cut. but would most certainly be a pleasent sight.

Year: 2023

Division: Modern Supercars

Engine: 3 litre Twin Turbo V6, 621 BHP, 538 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 2.9 Seconds, 202 MPH+, 1475 kg

De Tomaso Pantera GT5- The 1970 Pantera first appeared in both Motorsport 3 & 4 before the later GT5 came to Motorsport ’23. Another very highly requested car from a manufacture that's made few appearances in games over the years but would fit right in with the likes of the Ferrari Daytona and BMW M1, and adds a little more Italian variety outside of Ferrari and Lamborghini.

Year: 1984

Division: Retro Supercars or Rare Classics

Engine: 5.8 Litre V8, 310 BHP, 330 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 5.5 Seconds, Top Speed: 159 MPH, 1474 KG

Ford Mustang GTD- Ford’s fastest and most powerful Mustang is already making waves alongside the new 911 GT3 RS and Corvette ZR1X. It's already set a sub 7 minute Nürburgring lap time and packs a supercharged V8 and sophisticated downforce. Surely this one is guaranteed to make the cut.

Year: 2025

Division: Modern Muscle or Track Toys

Engine: 5.1 Litre Supercharged V8, 815 BHP, 664 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 3.2 Seconds, Top Speed: 202 MPH, 1930 KG

Gumpert Apollo S- Another very highly requested car, the Apollo S last appeared in Horizon 1, since then Gumpert has been renamed Apollo with their car the Intensa Emozione now a mainstay of the series since Horizon 4. Cars from deceased brands have appeared in recent titles such as Triumph and Ascari so there’s a chance the once Top Gear lap record holder could return.

Year: 2010

Division: Hypercars or Extreme Track Toys

Performance: 4.2 Litre Twin Turbo V8, 691 BHP, 645 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 3.2 Seconds, Top Speed: 223 MPH, 1200 KG

Aston Martin V8 Vantage '77- Having made a handful of appearances in the Forza series, the Vantage isn't at the top of people's wishlists but it is most certainly an icon of it's time and would add more variety to the rather lacklustre Aston Martin range that in Horizon 5 includes nothing from 1965-2007, your seriously telling me that Aston made nothing exciting in this period, well if the Vantage V600, DB7 Zagato & DB9 don't give you the fizz, then this sure will.

Year: 1977

Division: Rare Classics

Engine 5.3 Litre V8, 380 BHP, 380 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 5.2 Seconds, Top Speed: 175 MPH, 1725 KG

Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Special- Whilst this car is most commonly associated with Gran Turismo, who's to say it can't be in Forza? Japan is known for it's mountainous terrain, and considering the Audi #2 Quattro S1 and Peugeot 205 T16 both have hill climb setups and that there'll be snow in this game, then why not include a hill climb and racing game icon that likely has the potential to be as fast as it was in Gran Turismo 2? (it could hit 250 MPH in that game)

Year: 1998

Division: Rally Monsters

Engine: 2.5 Litre Twin Turbo V6, 981 BHP, 687 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 2.5 Seconds, Top Speed: 160-190 MPH, 800 KG

Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo

The iconic Fiat Coupe made a one-off appearance in Motorsport 4 as DLC but was in Gran Turismo until 6 where most of the roster was culled in GT Sport. The Coupe has a unique engine and iconic looks that should make it a welcome addition that livens up the Fiat line up that recently has only included the stunning Dino Coupe and tepid 124 Spider.

Year: 2000

Division: Retro Sports Cars

Engine: 2 Litre Inline 5 Cylinder Single Turbo, 220 BHP, 228 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 6.1 Seconds, Top Speed: 152 MPH, 1285 KG

Honda Accord Type-R

Honda's junior sports saloon is a forgotten enthusiasts favourite that packs the iconic VTEC unit within a comfy 4-door saloon, people have begged Honda to bring it back for years, so let's hope it at least gets brought to Horizon 6.

Year: 1999

Division: Retro Saloons

Engine: 2.2 Litre 4 Cylinder, 209 BHP, 158 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 6.9 Seconds, Top Speed: 142 MPH, 1330 KG

RUF CTR 'Yellowbird'

RUF was commonly used as a substitute for Porsche in Gran Turismo 2 and Forza 4, 5 and Horizon 1 & 2, and since Porsches have appeared as standard in Forza since EA's exclusivity deal ended, RUF's have been absent, but considering Project Gotham Racing had both RUF & Porsche, and Gran Turismo 7 has the CTR3, why not bring back the iconic Yellowbird?

Year: 1987

Division: Retro Supercars

Engine: 3.4 Litre Flat 6 Single Turbo, 469 BHP, 410 Ib/ft

Performance: 0-60: 3.7 Seconds, Top Speed: 211 MPH, 1207 KG

10    Pro-Tuned Cars- Kinda cheating here, but hear me out. The first 4 Motorsport games saw a variety of pre-tuned cars from brands like Top Secret and MINES tussle alongside the likes of the Porsche Carrera GT, Bugatti Veyron & Ferrari 458. Since then they have been absent but with Horizon 6 bringing back the #1 Sierra Time Attack EVO 8 from Horizon 5 and Gran Turismo 7 getting the MINES Skyline R34. It’s possible these supped up Japanese legends could be overdue for a return. The D1-Spec Silvia would fit right at home with the various Formula Drift cars in particular.

MINES Skyline GT-R R32 (1993) 2.6 Litre Twin Turbo Straight 6, 621 BHP, 455 Ib/ft, 0-60: 3.0 Seconds, Top Speed: 207 MPH, 1335 KG, Retro Supercars

MINES Skyline GT-R R34 (1999) 2.6 Litre Twin Turbo Straight 6, 621 BHP. 433 Ib/ft, 0-60: 3.5 Seconds, 203 MPH, 1450 KG, Retro Supercars

Top Secret 0-300 Supra (1998) 3 Litre Twin Turbo Straight 6, 986 BHP, Ib/ft, 0-60: 3.1 Seconds, Top Speed: 215 MPH, 1490 KG, Retro Supercars

Top Secret D1-Spec Silvia S15 (2000) 2.2 Litre Single Turbo Inline 4 Cylinder, 534 BHP, 380 Ib/ft, 0-60: 3.5 Seconds, Top Speed: 151 MPH, 1160 KG, Drift Cars
